OUR STORY
OUR STANDARDS

Malej was founded in 2022 by Yasar Esgin, the owner of the Istanbulbased fashion producer Cemsel Textile. The family business has existed for over 30 years and has become one of the largest fabric producers in Europe through consistently high quality and service. In 2018, the mainstream brand More & More, based in Starnberg near Munich, was acquired and is on a successful growth path. With Malej, Yasar Esgin is now fulfilling a vision that has been with him since his student days and as a young textile engineer in Germany: that of a "modern-premium collection".

The name Malej is purely fictitious and is intended to emphasize the internationality of the brand. The standards and processes are clearly defined: only high-quality and sustainable materials are used in the manufacturing process. The design is developed at the headquarters in Istanbul, while sales are based in Starnberg at More & More. All company processes are efficiently controlled from the headquarters in Istanbul and supported by powerful AI systems.
